The easiest way to book is through a direct message on Instagram (@larawanbyamihan) or via the Larawan by Amihan Facebook page. You can also use the contact form on this page. Amihan will respond within 24–48 hours to confirm availability and discuss your session details.
Studio sessions are held at Marekit Studios in Malolos, Bulacan. Lifestyle and outdoor sessions can be done at your home, a park, or any meaningful location in the Malolos and greater Bulacan area. Amihan also does on-location sessions — please inquire for availability and details.
Ideally, book at least two to four weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. For milestone sessions, holiday portraits (Christmas, Valentine's Day), and newborn sessions, earlier is better — up to two months in advance is recommended as these dates fill up quickly.
Coordinated but not matching outfits tend to photograph beautifully. Neutral tones, earth tones, and soft colors work especially well. Avoid large logos or busy patterns. Most importantly — wear something you actually feel comfortable and yourself in. Amihan will share a style guide when you book to help you prepare.
Session length depends on the type of session. Family and children portrait sessions typically run 1 to 2 hours. Women's portrait and milestone sessions run about 1 to 1.5 hours. Newborn sessions can take 2 to 4 hours to allow for feeding, soothing, and wardrobe changes. Event coverage is booked by the number of hours needed.
Edited photos are delivered via online gallery within two to three weeks after the session. For milestone and newborn sessions, turnaround may be slightly longer. Amihan carefully edits each image by hand to ensure quality — you will receive a notification when your gallery is ready to view and download.
Absolutely — and actually, toddlers are some of Amihan's favorite subjects. She works at their pace, follows their energy, and is patient enough to wait for the perfect candid moment. Please don't worry about your child being "difficult" — the real, unfiltered moments are exactly what makes the photographs extraordinary.
Yes — Amihan loves to know about specific shots that are meaningful to you. A photo with Lola, the exact family configuration, a particular location in your home. You can create a mood board or share references. At the same time, Amihan will gently guide the session to ensure the candid, genuine moments are also captured — these are usually the ones clients treasure most.
